The Job
Our client, based in Kingswinford has a vacancy for an Assembly Line Team Leader on a temp to perm basis.
Hours of work are rotating shifts Monday to Friday; 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm. Occasional weekend work may be required.
Duties include;
- Ensuring and promoting best practice with regards to Health & Safety and quality regulations
- Effectively motivating the production line team to meet targets, maximising production where possible whilst ensuring the final product meets client specifications
- Completing all paperwork and systems in accordance with company procedures
- Attending daily meetings
- Assisting with staff training
- Contributing towards the continuous improvement programs
Ideally, applicants should have previous experience of working in a similar role with a proven track record of Health and Safety awareness, working to line targets, labour management, quality systems, waste targets, training and use of integrated management systems.
