Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement
Concept Recruitment Group Ltd is committed to preventing acts of modern slavery and human trafficking from occurring within its business and supply chain, and imposes the same high standards on its clients.
Concept Recruitment Group recognises that modern slavery and human trafficking could be potential risks to our business. We have strict policies and procedures in place to ensure the consistent monitoring of our candidates for the signs of human trafficking and labour exploitation. These checks are paramount to allowing us to identify exploitation at the earliest stage.
Concept Recruitment Group Ltd are 100% committed to Compliance and Ethical Standards and strive to operate best practices at all times. As part of our commitment, all our internal employees are fully trained on “spotting the signs” relating to Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking and are aware of how to report this confidentially to Head Office on our dedicated 0333 3201223 telephone number. This telephone number is widely advertised throughout policies, handbooks, notice boards, payslips to all candidates, also with our clients and internal employees.
As soon as an exploitation issue arises, our HR department will contact the appropriate authorities to investigate. We are fully committed to working with all organisations that take the issue as seriously as we do and who share our goal to reduce and eliminate this threat in the UK.
When a potential candidate chooses to register with Concept Recruitment Group Ltd the checks begin. These continue throughout the candidate’s employment. At the time of registration, the identification and ‘right to work’ checks are conducted. This ensures that the candidate has control of their own documentation and that their job expectations are managed effectively. All interviews are completed face-to-face with the individual confidentially to make sure that they have freely chosen to attend. In addition, throughout the registration and interview process, all registration documents are checked and verified as being the applicant’s own information.
All our sites and branches have literature available for candidates which informs them of contact details for all the relevant authorities who can assist them if required.
We are confident that we have the right checks in place to minimise the risk of human trafficking and labour exploitation taking place within our company. We strive to continuously improve systems, policies and procedures in order to protect workers who may be vulnerable. However, should our business be infiltrated, Concept Recruitment Group Ltd are able to react quickly and efficiently to resolve every case, every time. This response is due to the knowledge and experience held within the team, the awareness levels of the wider team members, and the relationships we hold with the relevant government authorities.
