Fabricator – MIG/TIG Welder
£29,640 – £31,616 per year
£15.00 – £16.00 per hour, depending on experience
38 hours per week – Monday to Thursday, 7:00am to 4:45pm, 30-minute unpaid lunch break
This is a Permanent role and you will employed directly by the client. Concept Recruitment are the introductory service only.
We’re looking for an experienced Fabricator with MIG & TIG welding experience to join a busy engineering/manufacturing environment.
What you’ll be doing
- MIG & TIG welding on steel, stainless steel and aluminium
- Fabricating and assembling metal components
- Working from engineering drawings
- Cutting, grinding and preparing materials
- Checking finished welds for quality
- Carrying out repairs and rework when required
- Keeping tools and equipment maintained
- Working safely and to production deadlines
What we’re looking for
- Previous MIG & TIG welding experience
- Fabrication experience
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Good knowledge of workshop tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
A welding/fabrication apprenticeship would be an advantage, but experience is more important.
