E1 Order Picker Truck Operator
Location: Batley (WF17)
Job Purpose
To safely and efficiently operate an E1 Order Picker Truck to pick, move, and store goods within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy, productivity, and compliance with health & safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate an E1 Order Picker Truck in accordance with training, site procedures, and health & safety standards.
- Accurately pick customer orders as per picking lists, RF scanners, or warehouse management system (WMS).
- Ensure picked goods are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Load, stack, and replenish stock in designated storage areas.
- Carry out basic pre-use checks and report any faults/damages to equipment.
- Work effectively as part of the warehouse team to meet daily targets.
- Follow site safety rules, including correct use of PPE and adherence to traffic management systems.
- Assist with general warehouse duties such as pallet wrapping, housekeeping, and stock counts when required.
Must Have:
- Valid RTITB / ITSSAR-accredited E1 Order Picker Truck licence (in date).
- Experience of operating the EI Order picker truck in a warehouse environment.
