Stores Operative – Huddersfield
Day Shift: Monday–Friday | Rotating 06:00–14:00 & 09:45–18:00

We’re recruiting a Stores Operative to join a busy warehouse team in Huddersfield. This role is key to keeping stock accurate, orders fulfilled on time, and the warehouse organised and safe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive deliveries, check goods against purchase orders, and inspect for damages
• Accurately record and label stock in inventory systems
• Store materials in designated locations following company procedures
• Pick, pack, and dispatch orders efficiently
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory audits
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks or forklifts
• Follow health & safety regulations at all times
• Report stock discrepancies, damages, or shortages to supervisors

What we’re looking for:

• Previous warehouse or stores experience (desirable but not essential)
• Reliable, punctual, and physically able to handle stock
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Team player with a proactive approach
