Identification Documentation Validation Technology (I.D.V.T)
From the 6th April 2022, the use of Identification Documentation Validation Technology will be introduced which will allow British and Irish Citizens who hold valid passports (including Irish passport cards) to be able to upload images of their personal documents via a certified IDSP to verify their identity remotely and prove their eligibility to work instead of presenting physical documents to an employer for checking.
