We’re currently seeking a skilled CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our client’s team in Huddersfield. The ideal candidate will need to be able to handle large one off components for machining and able to use Heidenheim programme. You must be able to program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines.
Hours of work will be 7.30am-4pm.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to keep them in optimal working condition.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller, with a strong understanding of milling techniques and CNC programming.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with a variety of materials, including metals and plastics.
- Ability to use precision measurement tools and equipment to verify part dimensions.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
