Based: Huddersfield
Full-Time: Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm & Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm (Overtime available)

Salary: £up to £40,000 depending on experience.
We’re hiring on behalf of our client, a respected, family-run engineering company with decades of expertise in crafting high-precision patterns, dies, and tooling from metal, resin, and wood.
Known for investing in cutting-edge manufacturing technology and taking pride in craftsmanship, they’re now looking to expand their skilled team with an experienced CNC Miller.
About the Role:
You’ll work on one-off, bespoke projects using Haas CNC machines, creating precision components for a wide variety of applications. This is an opportunity to take ownership of your work, working closely with a close-knit team of engineers in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up Haas CNC milling machines
- Interpret detailed engineering drawings and CAD/CAM files
- Manufacture unique, high-precision components to tight tolerances
- Perform quality checks and machine maintenance as needed
- Work closely with designers, engineers, and toolmakers
Ideal Candidate:
- Solid experience with CNC milling (Haas experience preferred)
- Confident working on one-off or low-volume, complex components
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Hands-on, team player with a keen eye for detail
- Background in pattern-making, die, or tooling (a plus)
