Finishing Assistant

£12.21 per hour, weekly pay and accrued holiday pay

Temporary, Ad hoc Shifts

We are working with our Ossett based client to recruit Finishing Assistants on a temporary, basis.  You will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that all finishing tasks are completed to the highest standards and within set deadlines.

To meet the needs of our client’s business, these roles will suit anyone who is looking for ad hoc shifts throughout the week and over the weekend, and requires adaptability to work across different shifts, with hours as follows:

Day Shift: 6:00am-2:00pm

Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm to 10:00pm

Night Shift: 10:00pm to 6:00am

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the finishing department to ensure all dispatches meet client requirements and deadlines
• Assemble orders accurately and efficiently
• Perform basic quality control checks to maintain high standards
• Ensure orders are organized and separated according to relevant couriers
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to company policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Flexibility to work on an ad hoc basis across different shifts as required
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• A team player with a positive attitude
• Capable of performing repetitive tasks whilst maintaining high quality
• Previous experience in a finishing department is desirable but not essential
