FLT Driver with Driver’s License – Printing Company
Location: Ossett
£12.00 per hour
2pm-10pm Immediate start
On behalf of our client, a well-established and rapidly growing printing factory, we are seeking an experienced and qualified FLT (Forklift Truck) Driver with a valid driver’s license. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to join a forward-thinking company and contribute to their ongoing success in the manufacturing and print industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Forklift Trucks (FLT) for the safe movement of materials within the factory premises.
- Efficient loading and unloading of goods from vehicles, ensuring all materials are handled with care.
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace, complying with company and safety regulations.
- Assist with stock control and inventory management, keeping accurate records.
- Support the production teams by ensuring timely availability of materials.
- Perform routine safety checks on FLT equipment, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
Candidate Requirements:
- FLT License: Valid and in-date, preferably for counterbalance and reach trucks.
- Driver’s License: Full and clean UK driving license.
- Proven experience as an FLT driver in a warehouse or factory setting, ideally within a printing or manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good team player with excellent communication skills.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and handling heavy materials.
