Packing Assistant

Job Summary

To support the packing team with packing of our premium bakery products in line with health and safety and food safety requirements and ensuring the best quality for our customers and consumers.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Working as part of a team
• Ensuring that all Health and Safety standards are maintained and that you always show due diligence.
• Packing hampers for online orders
• Packing product into boxes
• Picking and packing orders
• Making up boxes for orders
• Make sure packing is put away correctly/ checked in and documentation taken to office
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently and check orders for despatch
• Support stock checks and support with stock rotation
• Minimising waste for specific role
• Following excellent food safety practices at all times
• Any other duties relevant to the role.

• Ideally have worked within a similar food production environment
• Be reliable and dedicated to your role
• Have a good understanding of health and safety and food safety
• Have a sense of ownership and pride in your work and want to succeed

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience within food manufacturing / production / packing
• Experience of working in line with health and safety and food safety requirements
