Plater / Fabricator

We are recruiting experienced Plater / Fabricators for our client based in Rotherham S61

This is a temporary to permanent position working Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm and Friday 7am to 1pm (40 hrs).

Paying £16.00 per hour for regular hours and £24 per hour after 40 hours worked.

The role requires previous experience in a heavy engineering workshop environment.

Duties will include-

• Fabrication, working to engineering drawings
• Using hand tools and bandsaws to cut steel plate to specification
• Assembling steel pieces ready for welding
• Drilling using handheld and pillar drills
• Use of overhead cranes to move large steel pieces into place
• Good housekeeping to maintain a tidy and safe work area
