Join a leading UK-based textile manufacturer renowned for its century-long heritage in producing high-quality home comfort products, including pillows, duvets, and mattress protectors.

The Role

We are seeking dedicated Production Operatives to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will:

• Operate and monitor textile manufacturing machinery, such as carding, spinning, or quilting equipment, following standard operating procedures.
• Prepare and feed raw materials into machines, ensuring continuous production flow.
• Conduct quality checks at various production stages to maintain product standards.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any issues to supervisors.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and product quality.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operations.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and adapt to changing production needs.
