Production Operative

We are currently recruiting for our busy Food Manufacturing client based in Wakefield, J41 for Production Operatives.

Hours of work are 12 hour shifts working on a 4 on 4 off rota.

Payrate : £12.71 per hour, weekly pay and accrued holiday.

Main duties :

– Working on a production line making and packaging bread and bakery products.
– Checking products for quality, weight, appearance and packaging.
– Moving materials or finished products when required.
– Packing finished products ready for delivery to shops and customers.
– Completing production records and quality checks.
– Keeping the production area clean and following strict hygiene standards.
– Following health and safety procedures at all times.

Skills and Qualities : 

– Reliable and Punctual.
– Good Teamwork and Communication skills.
– Able to work in a fast paced environment.
– Good attention to detail.
– The role will involve standing and repetitive tasks.
– Previous experience in food production would be useful, although training will be provided.
