Quality Engineer / Quality Technician
Job Type: Full-time

Mon – Fri 8am – 4.30pm

£35K per year

Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality professional to support and continuously improve our Quality Management System. This is a hands-on role, working closely with production teams to ensure quality standards are met and exceeded across all processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal audits in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards, ensuring full compliance
• Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS), logging incidents, corrective actions, and improvements
• Carry out quality inspections using a range of precision measuring and gauging equipment
• Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Monitor, report, and drive improvements in key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Support production teams with a hands-on approach, working closely with operators on the shop floor
• Contribute to and implement training procedures and quality processes
• Complete PPAP documentation up to Level 3, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Lead and support 8D problem-solving activities and root cause analysis
• Maintain and update Health & Safety documentation in line with company and regulatory requirements
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of CNC turning and milling processes

About You:

• Experienced in Quality within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and QMS systems
• Confident working with engineering drawings and inspection tools
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels
• A hands-on, team-focused approach with a drive for continuous improvement
