Sewing Machinist

We are currently seeking a skilled Sewing Machinist to work with our client based in Halifax. As a Sewing Machinist, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring the quality and precision of finished products.

Responsibilities:

• Operate industrial sewing machines to sew fabric, leather, or other materials according to specifications
• Read and interpret sewing patterns and instructions
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines
• Identify and report any issues with machinery or materials

You must have proven experience as a sewing machinist/similar role.

Working hours will be Monday – Thursday 0800-1700 and Friday 0800-1500. This is a permanent role.
